Here's the verdict...

After reading the input from all of you, I thought long and hard about what to do about my blog. I really appreciated that 2 fellow infertiles, Kara & Amy, who have gone on to find success after infertility, encouraged me to document every single moment of this pregnancy because it will seem to fly by so quickly. I know that I will want to have some way of remembering every tiny twinge, twang, flutter and kick that I feel, so I've decided to start a second blog, The Making of the Scholl Family. I will use that blog as my true pregnancy journal & I'll continue to pick and choose some of the entries to cut & paste into this blog, for those of you who aren't ready for the uncensored pregnancy talk. I hope that's a solution that works for everyone. You're all so valuable to me and I thank God everyday for the amazing friendships I've made in bloggyland!

I've added the link over in my sidebar, under my profile info.

I cannot wait to hear the report of the ultrasound!!! This is such a grey area and everyone sees different colors of grey to be appropriate. I believe what you are doing, if it works for you, is a fantastic solution.

I know, personally, still TTC our first and coming all too close for comfort to that 4 year mark, I find such great hope in a fellow infertile sister becoming a mommy! It gives me encouragement and a reminder that miracles still do happen... ;-)

Congrats again! I look forward to reading all about your unsensored pregnancy stories! Heck. I'm already following you there! :-)

Yay! I am so glad you decided to keep writing, and I think you came up with a very sensitive, thoughtful solution. White I totally understand the pain of IF (having experienced it myself), it makes me sad when people struggling with IF can't be happy for people who have overcome it. I don't think it is good for the heart to be so sad and pained because other people are happy and successful in their struggle. If anything, I think that stories like yours ought to be encouraging!

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to reading your other blog! Believe me, once things start happening, they do NOT stop, and you shouldn't feel any shame in writing about it. One of these days, when you've been hugging the porcelain throne all day because your husband dared to drink a cup of coffee and breathe in your general vicinity, you're going to want to write about it, because, well, it's you LIFE. It's your reality, as you are experiencing it, and pregnancy (as much as it is to be desired!) is not all happiness and rainbows, no matter how hard it was to get to that state. Pregnancy is hard WORK, and it's uncomfortable, and it's all-consuming, and completely overwhelming. You're going to want the same support through pregnancy and mommyhood as you had through IF, I promise.

I'm so glad you have decided to write about it! I, personally, want to share in your joy, even the gross, uncomfortable parts, like the throwing up every day, the wacky food aversions, the weird vaginal discharge (oh yeah, noone tells you about that mucousy little treasure), the constant need to pee, the stretch marks, the hilarious uncomfortable gymnastic sex, the sleepless nights, etc. etc. It's going to be great! :)

Woo-hoo! I'm on my way over! :)

I DEFINITELY think you should get on and make this blog into a book. That's why I document EVERYTHING... because I'm going to make my blog into books for Brecken to have when he's older. And it's easier for me to blog than it is to pull out the baby book and write stuff in it. So it will be like a diary for him to have later in life- complete with when I was pregnant with him. So get this blog published and you'll have book 1 done, it's an amazing story!

I think it's a great idea. I wish I had more of my pregnancy stuff written down, but I was soooooo supersticious about it, that I truly didn't write for exactly that reason.

however, I think documenting is so important for you.

have fun and CONGRATULATIONS..what a miracle.!!!!!!
